Kennedy
Kennedy is our resident weightlifting Physiotherapist and retired mountaineer. After being released from the strong hold of Ogopogo in the Okanagan where Kennedy completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia, she relocated to Edmonton to obtain her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Following graduation, Kennedy was compelled to stay in Alberta to enjoy the exquisite Edmonton weather and scenery and joined the team at MVMT in St. Albert. When Kennedy isn’t at the clinic helping clients get back to what moves them, she can be found on an Olympic weightlifting platform preparing for competition. Kennedy has an extensive sporting background including dance, figure skating, track, sprinting, endurance running as well as weightlifting in the form of body building, powerlifting and Olympic lifting.
Kennedy has special interests in pelvic health, concussion management, sport performance injury prevention, and orthopedic injury rehabilitation. Other populations she is passionate about working with include pediatrics, those impacted by cancer and those living with Parkinson’s Disease.
